Three Sizing Mistakes to Avoid
1. Sizing for peak summer AC on a budget battery
Air conditioning dominates UAE loads. If the budget doesn’t stretch to 16kWh, don’t promise yourself whole-home AC backup — designate one “cool room” instead and size honestly for it.
2. Ignoring surge loads
Pumps and compressors draw 2–3× their rated power at start-up. Your hybrid inverter must handle the surge even when the battery has capacity to spare — another reason the inverter and battery should be sized together.
3. Buying a battery that can’t expand
